Russian Educational Room (Studio 2)

Language Room for All Ages and Levels by Bookvitsa
In a Language Room at the Festival, we plan to have some activities that will be based on the introduction of the Russian language to non-Russian speakers and language and literature games for native Russians.
Bookvitsa is a book club that has been serving Triangle Russian speaking children since 2010. The focus of the club is introduction of Russian literature to young readers and creation of a safe and positive environment where club members can express their opinion about books.
Special Exhibition (Second floor)

Historical Space Exhibition
The festival will showcase part of a historical space exhibition presented at the 2017 International Festival of Raleigh prepared by Irina Zaverukha and Vladimir Burchakov under the direction of Masha Kononov.
Arts & Crafts Vendors (Main Gallery)

Traditional Russian Souvenirs MOROZKO
The most fascinating souvenirs came to the festival from Charlotte! The Morozko is a family business importing and retailing traditional Russian fine crafts and gifts handmade in Russia.
A considerable part of products are Christmas ornaments, wooden Santas, porcelain, rag dolls, nesting dolls, lacquer boxes, and action toys.

Ruslan Lartsev Watercolors
Ruslan Lartsev is a watercolor artist who lives and works in Moscow, Russia. Ruslan specializes in watercolor paintings of the Russian countryside, as well as old world Russia scenes. He also has expanded his technique to include acrylic pieces, wood stains, as well as oil paintings.

Galina Sokolskaya Flower Artist
Galina creates flower bouquets using traditional Ukranian color palette. Stop by at her table at the festival!
Activities for Kids (Studio Gallery)

Raleigh Russian School ZNAIKA
Russian School Znaika is providing cultural reinforcement for Russian speaking children with emphasis on intellectual development and creative activity. School is offering Russian Language and Literature, Russian as Second Language, Mathematics and Science, Music and Drama, Art, Chess as well as numerous clubs and activities: Summer camp, Book club, Lego club, Art workshops and more.
MATHryoshka, the School of Creative Thinking
MATHryoshka will offer educational and creative activities for children during the festival. Stay tuned for further details! Activities for kids will be held in the Studio Gallery.

The School of Creative Thinking MATHryoshka is based on the idea that kids (ages 6 to 12) can learn creative, innovative and original approaches to various aspects of education through games and interaction with teachers and each other.
Additionally, the school offers Russian as a Foreign Language classes (or Russian as a second language for kids from native speaking families).

Homemade Sweets Table is presented by St. Tatiana Sisterhood of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Cooked with love!
St. Tatiana Sisterhood is Women’s Philanthropic Society of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Mebane, NC. Its mission is to preserve and perpetuate Orthodox Faith and traditions, and to promote the charitable and benevolent purposes of the Orthodox Church. All of the items are home made with love. Our ancient and venerable heritage offers something for everyone to learn and grow in. Started in1991, our parish represents an active and dedicated Orthodox community and welcomes everyone.
