About the Festival
How Did It All Start?
The Triangle Russian Festival was held for the first time on February 4th of 2016 by The Rotary Children's Fund (RCF) in the Halle Cultural Center of Apex, in North Carolina. (Since 2012 Groups performed regularly at the center that later grow into Triangle Russian Festival)
Having rich experience in concert organization and participating in numerous Russian festivals across the United States, the RCF decided to start its own tradition in the Raleigh-Durham Area. The first Festival attracted more than 600 guests, 15 vendors, 30 volunteers, and two local and international folk groups.
The Russian Festival was held again in the Halle Cultural Center of Apex on annually on the first or second weekend of February.
We are still experimenting with the time and the place to find the right format of the event!
